What it is.
The CSRD (Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive) requires companies in scope to report under the 12 ESRS standards. Mangue Tech runs the whole process: from the scoping analysis to the delivery of the draft report.
We start with the double materiality assessment (the company's impact on the environment × the environment's impact on the company), engaging internal and external stakeholders. The result defines which of the 12 ESRS standards apply and which data points are mandatory.
For each applicable standard, we structure the data collection, combine quantitative information from the platform (emissions, energy, waste) with qualitative information (policies, governance, due diligence) and deliver the gap analysis with an implementation roadmap.

What is the CSRD and what are the ESRS standards?
The CSRD (Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive) is the European Union directive that requires companies within its scope to report under the 12 ESRS standards, the European set of sustainability reporting standards. Each standard has its own data points, and the double materiality assessment defines which of them apply to the company.
How does the double materiality assessment work?
Double materiality looks at two sides: the company's impact on the environment and the environment's impact on the company. Mangue Tech runs this assessment by engaging internal and external stakeholders. The result defines which of the 12 ESRS standards apply and which data points become mandatory.
We already have an emissions inventory. Do we still need this?
The inventory covers part of the quantitative data. The ESRS standards, required by the European CSRD directive, ask for more: energy, waste and the qualitative layer (policies, governance, due diligence). Mangue Tech combines the figures already structured on the platform with that qualitative information and delivers the gap analysis with an implementation roadmap.
Does Mangue audit or issue the opinion on the CSRD report?
No. Mangue Tech prepares, structures and supports the process, from the scoping analysis to the delivery of the draft report. Certificates, opinions and verification stay with the external verification body (Bureau Veritas, SGS, DNV, TÜV).
How long does a CSRD reporting project take?
It depends on the scope and on how mature the data is. In a CSRD reporting project, the double materiality assessment comes first precisely because it defines how many of the 12 ESRS standards apply and which data points need to be collected. The gap analysis delivers the implementation roadmap sized accordingly.
